The Fontmell MagnaYoga Sanctuary is available for hire by Holistic groups and teachers for weekend or day retreats, Based in the beautiful village of Fontmell Magna Dorset, this delightful place of calm and relaxation has been created in a Grade II listed former Methodist Chapel and adjoining Schoolroom
The Chapel Studio – 11m x 9m
The Old Chapel offers a superb area for Yoga, Meditation and other holistic practices. With its polished old pine wooden floor, high ceilings and hanging wrought iron chandeliers, it offers a very relaxing, calming and spiritual atmosphere particularly if you wish to make use of the candles to create a beautiful ambience. The Old Chapel is fully heated and comes with CD player and floor standing speakers. Yoga mats and equipment also available
Old Schoolroom Relaxation Area - 10m x 9m
The Old Schoolroom has been furnished with comfortable soft brown corner sofas and offers a calm area for discussion, relaxation and casual buffet dining. There is also a small library of Yoga reference books for clients to browse and a select range of yoga accessories to purchase.
Therapist Area
A raised stage area enclosed by heavy curtains provides a cosy private massage / therapist area, equipped with two massage tables
Kitchen/WC
The Sanctuary offers a fully fitted modern kitchen with electric oven and hob and full cutlery and crockery for 20 persons. There is a modern unisex toilet.
Catering
We are able to offer a full catering service of beautiful vegetarian and Satvic meals for the sensitive of Mind, Body and Soul, Delicious recipes with flavour and goodness. Vegetarian, dairy and gluten free - from £10 per head per meal. The Sanctuary offers unlimited Herbal teas free of charge included in the hire cost. Other refreshments such as Organic cakes for afternoon tea are available on request. Please tell us your requirements.
Sanctuary Hire rates
* Discounts can be offered to teachers/groups for regular bookings for teacher training courses throughout the year
of the Magna Yoga Sanctuary
Full Weekend from Friday 4pm through to Sunday evening - £250
2 Day Weekend from 9am Saturday to 6pm Sunday - £200
Weekend -Day Hire Saturday / Sunday 9am to 6 pm -£100
Half a day hire 9 – 1pm or 1 pm to 5pm - £50
Half a day hire 9 – 1pm or 1 pm to 5pm - £50
Other times may be available - please enquire

Also Ayurvedic Indian head massage, full body holistic massage, hot stone massage can be offered by our fully trained therapists within your retreat if wished.

Accommodation
Residential accommodation can be arranged in 3 lovely double rooms within our own country house adjoining the Sanctuary in the beautiful village of Fontmell Magna or in nearby in delightful cottage B&B’s. or hotels nearby.
